When daddy got home, I also learned that he should not be in the kitchen because he kept trying to steal whatever it was that she was cooking and she kept slapping him and telling him to get out. Glad I wasn't the only one being told that cause the both said it to me A LOT!
Right before bedtime, mommy took this big white thing and put it in a bag - I heard daddy call it a turkey. He did take a picture of it first, but I don't know why, but here is the picture. She then put it into this big black box thing, pushed a few buttons and walked away. Then we went to bed.
In the morning, the whole house smelled so good I couldn't stand it. I just knew I was really hungry and I didn't know why. I ate some of my puppy chow, but that just didn't taste like what I was smelling so I wasn't too interested in my puppy chow today.
Later, I met a brand new friend. Her name is Annie (or as my Sissie calls her Annie Pannie Boomalanie). That's a funny name, don't you think? I really liked her. She brought me a treat, which I thought was really nice, even though I didn't get to say thank you - so thank you Annie Pannie. It was two bones - one that said Naughty and one that said Nice - I think I will eat the Nice one because I don't think I'm ever Naughty.
Mommy, of course, dressed me in a party dress - it was red and black velvet with a beautiful black bow. She tried to put a bow in my hair, but I just kept shaking it out (ha ha). Thankfully she gave up after a while because I really didn't want to wear the bow. I was okay with the dress, because I thought it was really pretty.
The most exciting part of the day though, was when Megan and Taylor came over. I was so happy to see them. They didn't bring Toby or Mysti, so I was a little sad, but it was nice to be able to play with them on the floor and run all over their faces! At dinner I heard everyone go around the table and say what they were all thankful for and on top of everything else, Mommy said me.
I may not understand a lot of these new holidays, but Thanksgiving I think I do understand (although I'm still not sure about that whole turkey thing daddy took a picture of). I think it's just a time when everyone gets together and says how happy they are and what they are thankful for, so this is what I am thankful for. I am thankful I have a wonderful family who loves me and takes care of me and plays with me when I am bored. I am thankful that when I have an accident and miss my wee wee pads, no one gets really angry with me (because I am really still trying to hit the right spot). I am thankful that I have met so many new friends and that I have a warm safe place to be. I think I like this holiday and hope it comes again soon - although I am not thankful for that very loud noisy thing that mommy and daddy use to push across the carpet. That thing scares me and they could get rid of that tomorrow and I would be really happy.
Daddy did have one final picture I found today and thought I would share with you. Remember that turkey thing I was telling you about before that daddy took a picture of. Well here is what is left of it. I don't know what it was, but it sure doesn't look the same as it did. I hope it's okay, where ever it went.
Til next time, Happy Thanksgiving and I hope you all have wonderful families too that you can snuggle and cuddle with tonight because now I am tired and am going to crawl up on mommy's chest and go to sleep. Night night - Maizie.
